Our intention of designing these three houses is to understand some interrelations between primary factors of architectural composition and to control them for definition of house. We observed topological disposition, space division, circulatory connection, infrastructure, openings, as primary factors which cause spatial hierararchy and contrast in architectural composition.

In house of "articulator", circulatory connection is visualized by being given tree-shaped volume.By nested implication of this volume in overall volume, each rooms are articulated. Resident can recognize that who articulates space of house is his/herself on walking in/on tree-shaped volume.

In house without "oku"(depth), the nested implication of three cubic box and its connection by tube define its spatial character. The depth and frontness caused by nested implication, by circular connection, by openings to exterior space, by connection to infrastructure, offset each other. It results house without any depth.

In quadrant house, three crucial shelves composing floor and wall are dividing inside of box culvert on changing its proportion.

This division makes 8 different but identified space which can adapts to the complexity of house.

The archtectural rhetorics can appear only virtually by such opperations on interrelation between primary factors of architectural composition.
