It is necessary for architecture to have its own clear and accurate conscious about where it will be present and about its own form. The architecuture, which communicates with native natural environment and historical background and which contributes to give identity of the area and to make the region enliven, could radiate its lively fascination as if it lives with the site. In the historical time passage, the architecture, which could play a social role and which would be suitable for the demand of the time, need to suggest and embody a new view point of value for the forthcoming future. It fascinates as a symbolic presence in the "present" days. So, at the site, I have to feel a vector of time which runs from far ancient to infinite future. The architecutures of today are poor for the sense of the time and be unconscious about co-existence with the destined site, so that they appear just now in the present time. Such kind of architectures, as they could not stimulate the time of "present", nor hold its own power to enlive society, look as meaningless presence to play social roles and demand of this time that are responsible for architecture.
Although it is the time now when the crisis of natural environment is popularly paid attention all over the world, architectures of today just stand vacantly in the presence of nature with just staring at the society and the time. Many of "present" architectures will exhaust and fade, as society and time change. But nature is not shaken by such changes and keeps calm, to the contrary, in the stream of times from infinite ancient to bounderless future. I respect this tenacious beauty of nature and it is the origin of conscious to exist which my architecture as social art has to hold. Today stiffness of current civilization is alerted. We should pay attention to how powerless the architectures would be, opposite to natural power, when we consider future architecture.
I pursue that the architecture as "environmentalized life" living on magnificiently exists free and independent to stimulate and to enlive the site. My original rule is to invite spiritual communications and to create collaboration works between the idea of natural environment and of architecture. I always try against the power of nature earnestly, I don't mean to compete against it by radiating more powerful energy of architecture but to invite an organic relationships between nature and human by the way of making architecture exist as symbolic nature and the surrounding nature.
The time flow of "infinite ancient to eternal future" of the site, native history, spirit, origin of the site and expected future are paid attention. The architecture as an environmentalized life gets a surprised attack of impulse for spiritual energy beyond the idea or technique, in the process of construction of idea in the absolute time flow under the site. This impulse is the breath of symbolic nature as an environmentalized life of architecture as if it would be alive.
My architecture as an environmentalized life of architecture contains the time flow of "infinite ancient to eternal future" and the appearance of it is not landing at the time of present but landing on earth in the limitless flowing time.
