Specimen No. X-l, from Hanakawa, Ibaraki Pref., occurs as yellowish brown to dark reddish brown small masses, about 3 cm across, included in a coal-bearing sediment.
Specimen No. X-2, from Choshi, Chiba Pref., is a rounded massive aggregate eroded out from a coal-bearing Tertiary sediment. It is reddish brown with waxy lustre.
