Nakai (1928) quoted two specimens in the original description of this variety. One is Oldham 818 bis and another is Matsumura which was collected by him in Nikko. The former specimen is, according to Nakai, identified as Arisaema serratum var. angustifoliata Miquel. These two syntypes are not traced. Thus, the neotype is chosen in the present catalogue. |
