Specimens collected by Otto Gottlieb Johann Mohnike (1814-1887)

 Mohnike is known as the Dejima physician who ordered a batch of a highly effective smallpox vaccine from Java and played a major role in preventing the outbreak of smallpox in Japan, however, he also collected plant specimens, three of which were donated to Tokyo University Museum by NHN, as follows.
